Joe Thomas and his car #62

Joe Thomas and his family and car #62

Joe's #62 with a new silver paint job is ready to roll this Friday at 250 Speedway. His biggest fans are his wife Angie and his two sons Lucas 4 and Landen 2.

Unfortunately, his racing season is going to be short due to being called back to Iraq. He is in The National Guard and left for Iraq the first time in February 2003 and came back May 2004. This time he has to go to training May 22nd until June 11th and depart to Iraq on July 5th.

Hopefully there will not be any rain outs in June and he will have a few more times to race. He inspired three other drivers to try racing.

Joe wants to thank all his fans who supported him last year.!!

Joe would like to thank the following people who either supported him or assisted him with his car: "My mom and dad, Don & Carla Thomas, brother Ricky Thomas, Allen Sickle, Shawn Daugherty, Charlie Sproull, Randy & Amy Torchick, Chris King, uncle Rick Swayne, grandmother Reva Swayne, Brian Sproull, Brandon Kelly, Tom Clark, Cody Clark, John Vermillon Jr. Scott Hass, and Donald Reppart”.

God Bless and Return Home Safely,

The 250 Speedway Staff
